Untreated, those symptoms can turn into lethargy, diarrhea or bloody diarrhea, higher fevers, and vomiting.

A pet can be infected, but otherwise healthy, acting as a carrier that can infect other animals or humans. You may also contract salmonella through contact with contaminated products. So this is an important recall to be aware of, for the sake of you and your pet’s health!
